NUR DIE x Kilian Kerner – Live Sketching in Hamburg

Some projects bring not only beautiful work but also the joy of beautiful encounters—and this was one of them.

On November 23rd, I had the pleasure of drawing live during the exclusive presentation of the NUR DIE SELECTED BY KILIAN KERNER collection in Hamburg, an event organized by Hej Mates. The collection, made from cashmere and micromodal, is as soft and cozy as a winter morning—ultra comfortable yet incredibly refined. A perfect match for the brunch setting in a charming café in Neustadt, where a select group of journalists and influencers gathered to discover it.

Among the guests were TV icon Frauke Ludowig and her daughter—both as kind and elegant as one would imagine. They, like many others, posed with warmth and curiosity, allowing me to capture their gestures and looks through my quick portrait sketches.

The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, and so were my drawings: reduced lines, soft accents, and quiet elegance inspired by the spirit of the collection.

I took this opportunity to stay a few extra days in Hamburg, renting a lovely little apartment in the same neighborhood. For a couple of days, I lived the illusion of calling this harbor city home—wandering its streets, feeling the wind from the Elbe, and getting inspired at every corner.
