Sunset colours on Ritzenhoff glasses

There are sunsets that we all remember: a terrace, the leaves of the trees dancing to the rhythm of the breeze, friends sitting at our table, distant laughter, the chirping of birds at the end of the day, life passing peacefully by and us feeling it under a sky of fire. On the table: cocktails that seal the moment and help us tune in to everything around us.

This kind of moment is what I had in mind when I painted the motifs for my two latest designs for the Aperizzo collection by Ritzenhoff. One with palm leaves and one with silhouettes.

The printing process on the glass is different from the one used until now. This new method allows to convey one by one the gradient and textured details that result when I paint with inks on stone paper. The colours are brilliant, like the sunset sky.

I am very happy with the result and grateful to Ritzenhoff for trusting me once again.

The glasses are available in the Ritzenhoff online shop and in many homeware retailers, especially in Germany and Switzerland.
