365 days ago: Tongariro Crossing

New Zealand, North Island, Tongariro Crossing.

Memories:

  • Tongariro Crossing: noticing how young and alive this earth we are on is. 20 km on foot through, again, extreme changing landscapes. This country is a catalogue of the best our planet has to offer.
  • Relaxing in the Tokaanu thermal pools after having walked those 20 km. Have you seen the sign? You know what they say: No pain, no gain.
  • Bonfire and fireworks celebrating Guy Fawkes Day. Not bad to close this day.

Rest of the travel published so far: here.
