Crochet flowers at the NYFW

Yesterday I watched some shows of the NYFW on TV. The things I liked best:

. the geometric cuts of August Getty atelier. Look at that cape with the drastic cut-outs for the hand openings. And those black and white games.

. the fantastic volume of that jacket by Monique Lhuillier. It reminds me so much of the legendary Balenciaga designs I saw in his museum some time ago (one day more about that museum visit, promised)

. the guy standing outside of the show and wearing a crochet flower on the lapel of his jacket, like the ones I made this summer after I finished my crochet bikini and could not stop with it. I wear them everywhere, I love them and I am glad they are conquering the world.
