Cutting out Lena Hoschek

Last week and in my search for my own drawing voice I was inspired by a wonderful dress by Lena Hoschek. I first sketched its gorgeous silhouette and then I started playing digitally with cut-outs, the technique I used for the "TuesdaysI draw what I eat" and colours. I asked in my facebook site about the colours and since nr. 1 won this was the one I finished (close to these lines).

But what I liked the most was to cut it out in real golden paper. The result is now framed over my desk. That was the first positive result of my trials: I could renew the decoration of my office with a couple of new pictures I like.
